In just a few years, artificial intelligence tools have entered our lives, our professional processes and, inevitably, museums and cultural mediation. Yet technology is never an end in itself, but a means. How can we take ownership of AI and use it to serve a vision, a mediation project, and cultural values?
Hovertone is a creative agency that places technology at the service of the visitor experience. In recent years, several landmark projects integrating AI have emerged within the agency. What they share is a distinctive, mediation-driven approach, a controlled and fully local architecture, and one core conviction: putting people first.
In this workshop, Nicolas d’Alessandro will share several concrete case studies — from the intelligent organization of iconographic archives to the generation of imaginary cities — to demonstrate how to transform a technological promise into coherent, robust systems genuinely designed for mediation.
